Her Calling Room
Privacy Policy
Effective August 19, 2026
Her Calling Room ("we," "us," "our") is a private devotional and wellness journaling app. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We built this app around the idea that your time with God and your personal reflections are yours alone — this policy reflects that.
What we collect
When you create an account and use the app, we collect:
- Account info: your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your raw password).
- Profile info: your name, an optional bio, and an optional profile photo.
- Content you create: daily check-ins (mood, spiritual state, prayer focus, gratitude notes), planner tasks, wellness logs (water intake, sleep, prayer/reading/movement habits), workout entries, journal entries, and affirmations you save.
We do not collect location data, contacts, or browsing history, and the app contains no advertising or third-party trackers.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to operate the app's features for you: showing your streak, syncing your entries across your devices, and displaying your own content back to you. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, other than the infrastructure provider (Supabase) that securely stores it on our behalf.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted database, protected by encryption in transit (HTTPS) and row-level security rules that ensure only you can read or write your own data — not other users, and not us, outside of what's needed to operate the service.
The Sisterhood
The Sisterhood is an optional community space at sisterhood.hercallingroom.app, separate from the app and covered by this same policy. Signing in there uses your Her Calling Room email and password, but it's a distinct product with its own content: channel messages, prayer requests, polls, event RSVPs, and an optional profile photo.
Unlike your journal and check-ins in the main app, anything you post in the Sisterhood — messages, prayer requests, your display name and photo — is visible to other signed-in members, since that's the point of a shared community space. A small team can review reports and remove content that violates community guidelines. You can delete anything you've posted yourself at any time, and reporting a message sends it only to that team, never to the person who posted it.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete any journal entry, task, or log at any time from within the app.
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Profile tab. This is irreversible.
- You can turn off daily reminder notifications at any time in Profile.
Children's privacy
Her Calling Room is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
